Ace Chimney Sweeps Proudly Services Exton, Pennsylvania’s Chimneys And Vent Systems
At the crossroads of Chester County, Exton, Pennsylvania is a regular part of Ace Chimney Sweeps’ chimney service routine — we head up from Elkton, Maryland on a regular basis for everything from chimney inspections to restoring damaged masonry.
As with a lot of Chester County towns, Exton gives our technicians the opportunity to flex the breadth of their skills, with chimneys that were built decades ago right down the way from newer homes with brand new factory-built fireplaces and chimneys. We’re equipped for the job, too — our technicians are trained extensively and certified. We have just as steady a hand resurfacing the smoke chamber on a historic chimney as we do adding a new chimney cap to a brand new system.
If you live in Exton and have a fireplace or stove and chimney system that needs attention and care, Ace Chimney Sweeps can do the job. We’re proud to serve Exton residents, and guarantee that you’ll be happy with our work and our service.
Exploring The Historical Treasures Of Exton
The history of Exton traces back some 300 years, and we’re lucky to still be able to explore those roots through buildings from as far back as the 1700s that are still standing in Exton (several structures are listed on the National Registry of Historic Places). As professionals who’ve spent years mastering the art of masonry work, and who build, repair, restore and maintain masonry structures every day, we can see why these historic masonry treasures are a point of pride in Exton.
The Massey House, Or Sleepy Hollow Hall
The earliest parts of The Massey House structure were built around 1720, and — a testament to the longevity of masonry — the stone construction holds up all these years later. The colonial/federal-style home is one of the oldest in the area, and offers a perfect image of Quaker simplicity.
The Zook House
Historians trace The Zook House to around 1750, and after years of restoration, it opened for public visits in 1975 with a museum, a tea room and a meeting room. It was moved about 300 feet to accommodate an expansion of the Exton Square Mall, and still stands strong.
