Ace Chimney Sweeps Serves Yorklyn, Delaware
Chimney services and vent services bring Ace Chimney Sweeps technicians from our homes in Elkton, Maryland, to homes throughout Cecil County, Kent County, New Castle County, Chester County and beyond on a regular basis. And that includes regular stops in Yorklyn to help valued clients with everything from an annual chimney inspection to the installation of a brand new factory-built chimney system.
If you live in Yorklyn and have been on the hunt for a chimney company you can count on, we hope you’ll look toward Ace Chimney Sweeps — our owner, Skip Creswell, started his career in this area back in 1986, and in the time since he’s shaped Ace Chimney Sweeps into a company that focuses on quality work and the kind of dedicated customer service our neighbors deserve.
We also have a 6,000-square-foot hearth shop less than 20 miles from Yorklyn that lets our clients ask questions and browse our wide variety of hearth appliances!
Visiting And Exploring Yorklyn
We’ve been blessed to work with valued clients in Yorklyn through the years — and to visit some of the community’s unique destinations, which have a lot to offer whether you’re interested in nature, history, industry or the arts. A few we tend to point visitors to:
Auburn Heights Preserve
A Delaware State Park site, the 200-acre Preserve includes trails and natural beauty — and some historic buildings that offer tons of interest.
The Auburn Heights Mansion
We build, maintain, repair and restore masonry structures just about every day, so seeing masonry that’s been standing for hundreds of years — and looking at the workmanship that went into that longevity — is always something we love making the opportunity to do. In Yorklyn, there’s the 6,000-square-foot Queen Anne–style stone Auburn Heights Mansion, built in 1897 and still standing strong. The stonework and the architecture are quite the sight, whether you’re a masonry professional or just a local who wants a peek into the lives of the locals who came before us.
The Marshall Steam Museum
Also at the Auburn Heights Preserve, the Marshall Steam Museum offers insight into “the magic age of steam and life at the dawn of the automotive age,” with a collection of operating Stanley steam cars. But it’s a fun stop even if you’re not a history buff since you can take rides on the Auburn Valley Railroad!
Center For The Creative Arts
With classes and events that span from crafts to a theater performance, this organization has a lot to offer Yorklyn residents, whether young or old.
